Freedom of expression limited by the need for respect from others

The statement continued: “At a prestigious event where the world comes together to share common values, there should be no allusions that ridicule the religious beliefs of many people.”

While insisting that freedom of expression is not being called into question, she explains that this freedom “is limited by respect for others.”
