Pope’s liturgical celebrations in November and early December

Pope Francis will preside over five masses between November and mid-December, according to the calendar published by the Office of Liturgical Celebrations of the Sovereign Pontiff.

The Office of Liturgical Celebrations of the Sovereign Pontiff has published the calendar of liturgical celebrations of Pope Francis from November to mid-December.
The Holy Father’s first engagement during this period is the suffrage mass for cardinals and bishops who have died during the year, which will take place on November 4 at 11 a.m. in St. Peter’s Basilica.
On November 17, Pope Francis will celebrate Mass for the Eighth World Day of the Poorwhich has as its theme this year “The prayer of the poor rises to God”. The Eucharistic celebration will take place at 10 a.m. in St. Peter’s Basilica.
For the solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, on November 24, World Youth Days will be celebrated at the diocesan level, as established by Pope Francis.
That morning, the Holy Father will preside over Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter’s Basilica.
The first celebration of the month of December will take place on Saturday, December 7, for the ordinary public Consistory for the creation of the new cardinals, at 4 p.m., in Saint Peter’s Basilica.
The next day, December 8, Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Pope Francis will preside over Mass at 9:30 a.m. with the new cardinals and the College of Cardinals.
In accordance with tradition, on the same day at 4 p.m., the Holy Father will perform the traditional act of veneration of the Immaculate Conception in the Spanish Steps.
On December 12on the occasion of Feast of Our Lady of GuadalupePope Francis will once again celebrate Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica has 6:00 p.m..
